Linda A. Morris, BA, LMT - Licensed Massage Therapist

 

Linda recieved the foundation of her massage training at the Northeastern Institute of Whole Health (NEIWH) in Manchester, NH in 1998. The first continuing ed class she took was Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy. This is a specialized deep tissue massage with elements of relaxing swedish massage and myofascial massage, applied with the therapist's feet, using overhead bars for balance and depth control. Linda is certified in Advanced Ashiatsu massage. 

 

At NEIWH, she was trained in a variety of massage styles & techniques including deep tissue & basic swedish massage, as well as specialities such as Hot Stone massage, pregnancy massage & myofascial techniques.

 

She has also trained in Reiki & Quantum Touch and other energy medicine techniques. Linda has her Reiki I certification. 

 

Linda is committed to life long learning and regularly takes a variety of continuing education classes to meet her clients needs and her own interests. She has taken classes in Advanced Ashiatsu, Orthopedic massage, mindfulness/meditation, Myofacial Release, Pregnancy massage, chair massage and more.

 

Linda has been a member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP) for 10 years. Linda is licensed in the State of Maine and Gorham. She worked at Lucinda's Day Spa for 3 years, taught massage courses at Seacoast Career School, and has been practicing massage regularly since 2001.
