Sheduling: Please schedule your appointment at least 24 hours in advance. This gives your massage therapist/bodyworker time to prepare for the session.
Cancellation Policy: Due to the one-to-one nature of massage/bodywork no-shows and cancellations impact the business significantly. Your appointment time is reserved for you, and a financial commitment is made for the time, studio space, supplies, and utilities, whether you appear for your appointment or not. Because of this, I ask for a 24-hour notice for canceling or changing your appointment. Please let me know, by phone, at least 24 hours in advance of your appointment. Otherwise, you will be will be responsible in full for the appointment.
Late arrivals: If you are late to your appointment, that time will be lost from the session. If you are more than 15 minutes late, your session will be cancelled and will be non-refundable.
Cash or check preferred, visa and mastercard accepted.
Insurance: I do not bill direct to insurance companies, however I can provide an itemized receipt for services with all the correct coding so that you can submit for reimbursement for massage services. Please check first with your insurance carrier to make sure that massage is covered and that you have all necessary referrals if needed. I have clients who regularly submit their claims to various insurance companies, and they are reimbursed, but it does depend on the insurance plan. More and more companies are realizing the benefit of regular massage for employees and are adding this coverage, as well as insurance companies realizing how well their clients stay with regular massage and other stress reducing strategies - so check with your employer and/or insurance carrier to see if you have this valuable benefit.
